Training, Marketing and Recruitment specialist Verridian plc are delighted to have recently been selected to submit an Invitation to tender for the Community Task Force (CTF) programme by DWP. This represents a promising step into public services delivery and follows on from Verridian’s progress in providing a range of blue chip clients with high quality training and recruitment services. CTF is a programme of work experience placements lasting for up to 6 months which will enhance the employability and work related skills of participants whilst providing benefit to the local or wider community. The programme will commence in July 2010 and Verridian are seeking to work with partners to present a programme of support across Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Swindon and West of England. The placements will normally need to cover a 3 month programme for 25 hours per week on a suitable work placement with 5 additional hours of job search support activity.
