Marcus Bowsher (Head of Financial Services)
Marcus has over 20 years experience in financial services distribution & is a chartered insurer. Having started life as a financial adviser he has held a number of senior sales & development roles including Sales Director of Bristol & West where he was responsible for the distribution of financial services products through all channels & through 1200 advisers. He has also worked as a consultant in the bancassurance sector & as a partnership director with AXA Life. He therefore fully understands the different demands of the corporate organisation, the individual adviser and the customer, as well as how to successfully manage key partnership relationships & projects.
Rob Brine (Training & Development Director):
Rob has expertise to deliver large scale training programmes having managed 2 of the largest UK training projects in the last 12 months. He heads up Verridian’s award winning training team & is highly accomplished within management development in regulated sales environments. Prior to joining Verridian, he held the position of National Training & Development Manager at AMP where he was responsible for management development & field force competency. With over 20 years experience in Financial Services, Rob understands the challenges presented by the Retail Distribution Review & will oversee all training activity to ensure that quality results are achieved for all Verridian’s clients
Martin Tuckwell (Non Executive Director):
Martin is an acknowledged industry expert in the field of training & competence and sales force development, having held a number of high profile positions over the past 17 years, covering both operational & strategic disciplines. While Head of Training & Competence with LAUTRO & PIA, Martin devised and managed the Financial Planning Certificate through to regulatory acceptance. His knowledge of professional development needs has been further honed by roles with Britannic, Pearl, KPMG & Barclays
